St Augustine’s Church

Welcome to the web-pages of St Augustine’s Church, the Anglican (Church of England) congregation in the southern part of Dunstable.

St Augustines Church

Whatever the reason for your visit to this website, these pages should tell you something about who we are and what we do.

Along with St Fremunds, St Katherines and St Peters (the Priory), St Aug’s is part of the Dunstable Team Parish, which covers the whole town. To see where we are on the map, click here.

We are part of The Diocese of St. Albans, which is part of The Church of England.

In 1992, St Augustines Church Centre was totally rebuilt to serve the needs of a growing community, and today provides a home for various community groups as well as a worshipping congregation. If you want to know about the history or rebuilding of St Aug’s please click here. If you are interested in hiring the hall or a room, please click here.

The church is a group of people who are seeking to follow Jesus Christ in their individual and corporate lives. We try to do this through our worship, and by caring for each other and for our neighbours.

Our worship is grounded in the catholic tradition, but is a blend of the traditional and the modern. Click on the menu bar for details of our regular service times. You can also find out about the various activities based at the church here.

Enjoy exploring. We welcome you to St Augustine’s.
