What’s on at St Fremunds

The Cropredy Hall at St Fremunds is home to various groups who meet regularly. It is a venue for hire for family parties and celebrations and it is used for church fundraising events throughout the year. If you wish to book the Church Hall please ring the Hall Bookings Secretary, Mr Nick Tallett, on 01582 758108 or email nicktallett@aol.com.


On the 1st Monday of each month at 1 pm there is a Soup and Sandwich Lunch following a service of worship at 12:30 pm. An opportunity to enjoy a chat over a light lunch. Come along and bring a friend.

Fortnightly there is a Ladies Group who meet from 2 pm to 3:30 pm to enjoy a varied programme of events and occasional outings. They offer a friendly welcome to ladies of all ages. Contact Claire Maxwell on 01582 524 694.

There is a Ukulele group which meets on Mondays 9.30-11.30am.

10.00 a.m. Tai Chi

Between 2 pm and 4 pm a small group enjoy Short Mat Bowls. Join them and boost their number.

On evenings in term time from 5:30 pm to 7 pm the 1st Dunstable Brownies meet.

On alternate Wednesdays between 10:30 am and 11:30 am for those who are ‘young at heart’ but not so agile there is Music and Movement (gentle exercises to music). Contact Claire Maxwell on 01582 524 694.

A very active Handicraft Group meet in the hall from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm. They produce a prodigious amount of craft items which are sold to raise funds for the church.

4:45 pm to 8:30 pm the hall is home to Slimming World. Contact Heather on 01582 516 248 for more information.

7.00p.m. (1st and 3rd Thursday of the month) Dunstable Quilters.
7.30 p.m. (last Thursday of the month) Beecroft Residents Association.

There is also a Knit and Natter group which meets on the 4th Thursday in the month from 7-9pm. This is an opportunity to share your skills whatever level!

10.00 a.m. Zumba

The timing of activities can be subject to change so please do contact the bookings secretary or the Vicar for further details.

Fundraising for the church is organised by the ‘St Fred’s FUNdraisers’. They have a timetable of events including the annual Summer Fair in June and a Christmas Fair.
