Dementia Carer Support Group

The Dementia Carer Support Group is held once a month (the third Friday of the month) at the Church Hall, Priory Church of St Peter. The meeting is free of charge. It is as easy as arriving at 1.30pm, enjoying a refreshment, listening to the presentation and talking with professionals and others who understand what it is like to be a carer and support a person with dementia.

Priory Church Spring Fair

The Priory Church of St Peter Spring Fair takes place this Saturday 18th May from 11 until 2.30pm.

Bring the whole family for a morning of fun with stalls including books, baby accessories, tombola and jewellery as well as face painting. Refreshments will also be available in the kitchen area including lunches and a range of home made cakes.

The fair forms part of a special weekend to kick start a year of celebration for the 800th anniversary of the church. Later that same day there is a special choral evensong at 5pm. In addition on Sunday 19th May there is a special parish service at 10.30am which will be delivered by The Bishop of Bedford in honour of the anniversary.

The fair forms part of a medieval weekend which is taking place in Priory Gardens so make sure you head along for a weekend of fun!
